Grammar_ 29th November (units 1, 2 and of the English book)
Speaking_ a long the days you'll be asked to take this exam.
About Natural Science tests about living things, cells, living things classification, animal kingdom and plant kingdom.
Oral test: You will be asked about this topic from next week.
Writing test: 4th December
To help you with the oral part, here you have some examples of questions so you can see how it will be. The most difficult thing here is remember most of the vocabulary and calm down when they ask you, because it's easier than you think.
What are living things?
They carry out three life processes to stay alive: nutrition, reproduction and sensitivity.
What is nutrition?
The process to obtain nutrients and energy from food.
What is reproduction?
The process to produce new indivuduals similar to us.
What is sensitivity?
To react to what they perceive around them.
What is a cell and what are its parts?
It's the basic unit of life. All living things are made up of cells, that carry out the three basic life processes.
They have three main parts:
- Nucleus: it's like the brain of the cell, it controls everything inside.
- Membrane: it's a layer that protects the cell.
- Cytoplasm: it's a liquid that contains the different oganelles of the cell.
* The plant cells also have chloroplasts and wall cell.
